Identifies the major issues and underscores the need for something to be done. I hope Dr. Dale's last comment comes true --that in a few years we will not need this because there will be sufficient Black Men in White Coats.
This was an amazing video. I would love to have more information about how I could bring this to my community.
I saw this as a very enlightening documentary about what can be done to encourage our black youth particularly our young black males to become doctors. It suggest that the low percentage of black doctors is not just a community problem but also a systematic problem. I think this documentary is very suitable for our black youth.
We, as black men are to open the eyes of our young black men to the possibilities of who they are and what they can become by first being the positive role model in front of them and to also bring that foundation of positive reinforcement.
This is an excellent documentary that makes a compelling case for community/academia/employer disruption - how can we inspire kids to be "great at everything they want to be" and promote easier paths for those to choose medicine to enter and be successful. Thank you for creating and sharing the facts and human-side of this critical issue.
