This was an absolutely PHENOMENAL documentary! I have shared this with many people in my circle because it is important to know that we can aspire to INSPIRE! WELL DONE Dr. Dale...to all of you!
I knew many struggled furthering their education due to color, but I had no idea the discrimination was still around so heavily. It is amazing what those who do prevail are able to do, though I as well feel many more would if the prevailing was not a necessary repeated struggle forced to face.
This Documentary is absolutely exceptional. It demonstrates the positive aspects among our black community while dealing with entrenched racism and discrimination. This video is top notch and I will be sharing it with my young nephews that believes learning, knowledge, and books are the way to your destiny.
Thank you for sharing, I love it.
Appreciate the effort taken to unmask the reality of Black Men in the US. However, we have to be mindful that the reason for the crisis we are in is not because of lack of underrepresentation by BMiWC or low acceptance of medical schools. Most of the men in the film had one thing in common beside the color of their skin, they all had a strong influence by a family member - mother, father or if they were lucky by both parents. The importance of structured childhood with value emphasized on education not necessarily in medicine alone will reward the black population collectively to demand the high quality health care they deserve and make an informed decision.
This was great!!!!
