Absolutely Wonderful!! This is amazing information. I Pray that this gets seen all over this world. It is so inspiring. I believe this will be a Blessing to many who watch this and entice them to be one of the many futures BMWC to come.
Incredibly moving, heartbreaking, and inspiring...Black Men In White Coats is a powerful, thought-provoking film that challenges us to step up and demand the dismantling of systematic barriers that prevent Black men from achieving success in Medicine. I highly recommend it!
Loved it. Especially Trip's story. It registered with me on so many different levels (even as an adult in this space). Additionally, the placement of each and every scene was perfect. I stan. I TRULY stan
Excellent documentary !!! It addresses many challenges and offers solutions as well as invite American systems to change. I will be praying for this movement and will seek to lend a hand. Kids need to see it to be!
Thank you for your documentary. It isn't a history of the BMWC movement as much as it provides insight into the real struggles and challenges that encompass the question why black males do not become trained as doctors in the US medical education system. While the film captures so many great professionals and role models, the climax of the movie focuses on the children who were touched by the efforts of this movement. It is a challenging film that everyone involved in medical education, prehealth advising, and admissions should take time to view. It winds up being quite timely in light of Black Lives Matter and the COVID-19 pandemic. One can hope that the movement can find a way to grow even in pandemic times.
