Very thought provoking. As a white female nurse of 30 plus years I have never considered the comfort a black man, young or old, would have with another black man working as their doctor. Yet I prefer a female doctor over a male! Very interesting movie

As an educator, this documentary gives me a sense of urgency to provide black male students and all students opportunities and access to role models, quality education, and resources that will prepare them to become doctors. The dream to become a doctor must begin early on, nurtured, and encouraged by the school system. There needs to be a positive belief system that supports black students becoming doctors and develop a pathway to success. We cannot continue to be discouraged by the financial, educational, and institutional barriers to becoming a doctor.

I found myself profoundly saddened by the statistics shared in this video. My role as an advocate in higher education, has always centered around the disadvantaged and helping them find opportunity. I will continue to do so one student at a time.
Our educational system is broken in so many ways, and needs a major overhaul in pedagogy, cultural awareness, funding and systemic organization.
Kudos to you Dr. Dale and the Black Doctors in White Coats for this movement.

Wonderfully done! I would encourage anyone involved in medical education to watch this film, reflect on how you can drive change, and act.

Thanking these brave black physicians for their tireless impactful work. As a black physician myself but trained in the Caribbean, my black male colleagues may not have experienced this. This was insightful and heart wrenching to watch. All the best
